BIC's Commitment to Education

BIC and its employees participate in the global effort to promote access to education. The company is proud to contribute to the effort to "ensure equal access to quality education for all and promote lifelong learning opportunities," one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN in September 2015.

BIC fulfills these commitments throughout the year through three types of actions:

BIC Global Education Week

During BIC Global Education Week, employees mobilize to improve learning conditions around the world through volunteer activities. In addition to empowering young people through education, BIC Global Education Week aims to improve learning conditions for 250 million students worldwide by 2025.

Launched in 2020 as an extension of BIC Global Education Week, the BIC Cristal Pen Awards recognize outstanding teachers who bring joy to their students every day and invest in inspiring them and helping them prepare for their future.

Born of BIC's desire to promote and structure its philanthropic approach, the BIC Corporate Foundation supports inspiring and innovative projects that make a difference in ensuring quality education for all.
