  • BIC mexico leaders mentor enactus student entrepreneurs

July 16, 2021 – BIC Mexico is continuing its partnership with Enactus Mexico to promote entrepreneurship among university students, helping them create businesses that will activate the economy in a sustainable and inclusive way. This partnership is a part of BIC’s commitment to education in the country and worldwide, part of its “Writing the Future, Together” program.

This year, 15 BIC leaders will mentor Mexican university students in order to drive innovation and accelerate projects that will compete at a national level. Enactus hosts this mentoring program as a way to connect student entrepreneurs with both national and international business experts.

Currently, Mexico boasts the largest Enactus university network worldwide. All projects developed as a part of the program are presented to a jury consisting of prominent business leaders and executives, who then evaluate the projects based on their positive impacts on the community. Once selected, the top teams will compete against students from 35 other countries at the Enactus World Cup.

Paula Griglione, General Manager of BIC Mexico and Ecuador, says that BIC is proud to continue being a prominent Enactus partner, “promoting the talent of young Mexicans, supporting projects that are transcendental for their professional growth and for the development of communities in a sustainable way.”

By combining the positive influence of business with education, BIC is able to support the academic development of participating students, which is a major contributing factor in both personal and societal development.
