BIC team members work closely with university students by providing mentoring, job shadow experience and support to student teams working on projects around education and sustainable consumption. Nigeria has faced many challenges, including sustainable consumption and a lack of quality education.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
University students propose social business projects tackling two of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals: #4 (Access to Quality Education) and #12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Throughout this process, they receive technical support, mentorship, site visits and job shadow experience from BIC Nigeria team members, learning about how BIC operates and existing business challenges. If their business idea has a strong potential, BIC will consider incorporating it into the business.
